Thanks to DIGIC DV ll, the DC330 produces video with improved color reproduction—especially in skin tones, and dark and light scenes. The hybrid noise reduction system employs two types of noise reduction for images that are crystal clear.
• Image sensor: The DC330 features a 1.07-megapixel CCD image sensor that records in standard definition.
• 2.7 LCD screen: The large 2.7" LCD screen and .35" color viewfinder displays your widescreen image in a letterbox view, making it easier to see all that you're shooting.
• Optical image stabilizer (OIS): This camcorder automatically detects and compensates for unintentional and movement and vibration. With OIS, shakes are cancelled out before the image even reaches the sensor—essential to keeping your video as smooth and sharp as can be.
• Quick Start feature: Push the Quick Start button to put your camcorder in stand-by mode. Push it again to power up your camcorder and start recording in less than a second. You'll save batteries, and you'll never miss a shot again.
• Low-light mode: The video light built into the LCD screen lends soft, even lighting to your subject when you're shooting in dark conditions.
