The VC500 can record video and audio to your computer from almost any analog video source, such as VCR, camcorder and DVD player. Also supports still image capture from video, in either JPEG or BMP format. Simply push a button to start/stop video capture.
Preserve your videotape memories in digital format.
THe VC500 lets you archive your old video tapes, to preserve your memories indefinitely. The video can be stored on your hard drive or burned to DVD or video CD (VCD). Ulead Video Studio SE software is included.
Supports multiple video formats.
The VC500 supports NTSC and PAL formats (commonly used in North America and Western Europe, respectively). Supports video capture for NTSC at a resolution of up to 720 x 480 at 30 frames per second, or for PAL at up to 720 x 576 at 25 frames per second. Also records 2-channel audio (RCA connectors).
Easy USB connectivity.
USB 2.0 connectivity makes setup quick and easy. Input video connections include S-video and composite video (RCA connector).

Minimum requirements include an Intel or AMD 1.4GHz processor, 256MB memory, 300MB hard disk space, video card with DirectX? 9 or 10 suport, CD-ROM drive, Windows XP SP2 (including MCE) or Vista, and an available USB 2.0 port. Recording requires an additional 600MB to 3GB per recorded hour.
