• 2.7" widescreen LCD: The large, 2.7" flip-out LCD screen cuts out surface reflections, giving you a bright, clear view—even in direct sunlight. Catch even more of the action using the 16:9 widescreen format.
• Everio docking station: The included dock enables users to place the camcorder into the docking station. The Everio docking station can then be connected to a PC or Everio Share Station. It also charges the camcorders battery and includes i.LINK (IEEE 1394) output—a feature that sets this model apart from previous Everios.
• Gigabrid engine: JVCs newly developed Gigabrid engine improves picture quality by integrating various noise reduction technologies to increase the signal-to-noise ratio by about 30 percent (3dB) over previous models.

• Quick access to recordings: Recording video to a hard disk allows you to edit playlists just like on an MP3 player. Random access means you can quickly locate your recordings and easily rearrange the playback sequence. Plus, recording starts automatically from the blank space on the disk, so theres no danger of mistakenly recording over something you want to save.
• Easy playback: Once you have recorded that special occasion, sharing it with family and friends is a snap. • USB high-speed interface: For quick downloading of Everio's data to a PC, simply connect its USB 2.0 interface. All transfer is digital-to-digital so there is no quality loss in the process.
• Bump protection: Just like notebook PCs, Everio-G camcorders have gravity-like force sensor systems that automatically sense sudden acceleration (as in a free fall situation) and turn off the power to protect the hard disk.
• In-camera editing: In-camera editing capabilities allow users to cut portions of a given video clip. This Partial Delete function takes advantage of the random access nature of HDD and SDHC media.
• One-touch DVD burning: One-touch DVD burning and footage backup enables easy archiving of video to DVD and direct back-up which automates the process of backing up newly shot video footage to a PC or storage device.
