• 8.0 megapixels: The Olympus FE-340 digital camera features a 8-megapixel sensor for excellent resolution. More pixels mean you can crop and enlarge your favorite parts of the photo, without sacrificing image quality.
• 5x optical zoom: This ultra-compact, precision-crafted Olympus lens gets you 60 percent closer to the action than a 3x zoom lens. The 4x digital zoom picks up where the optical zoom lets off.

• Live View: Using a live, multi-frame window on the LCD, Perfect Shot Preview lets you see the effects of different exposure levels before you shoot, so you can capture the perfect shot.

• Scene modes: Choose the mode to match your scene, and this camera automatically adjusts settings such as shutter speed, flash and focus to adapt to the situation. This camera features modes for 19 scenes, including portrait, landscape, sports and more.
• Program auto mode: This mode gives you greater creative control so you can adjust settings like white balance and ISO.
• Smile capture mode: The FE-340 can help you capture more smiles by shooting automatically when your subject laughs, smiles, even grins. Select the person to watch and the expression to catch—your camera will do the rest!
• In-camera editing menu: The in-camera editing features include on-camera cropping, blurry picture alert, and digital red-eye reduction. This FE-340 also comes with a fun face-changing feature. This feature uses face detection, after the shot, to find a subject's face and modify their facial expression. Four different expressions can be previewed in a multi-frame window on the LCD, and users can select their favorite or the funniest expression at the touch of a button.
• Shoot movies: When a picture isnt enough, you can capture movies using the AVI Movie with sound function.
