In the drill mode the EY7840LN2S delivers a speed of 0-1,000 rpm for drilling and fastening into wood and metal. The EY7840LN2S features a 5 stage clutch that delivers 13 48 in.lbs. of torque in 9 in. lbs. increments. The convenient SDS bit adaptor allows you to fasten in concrete, wood and metal. The chuck is a 5/8 capacity SDS-plus bit system utilizing a push to insert bit style with a one touch bit release for easy bit insertion and removal. The EY7840LN2S features a new air-coupling hammer mechanism for quick hole drilling into concrete. The air system hammer uses compressed air to drive the piston and deliver power effectively.
