High ISO also means that the image sensor can handle short exposures to light, allowing fast shutter speeds that prevent blur due to camera shake or moving subjects.
• Dynamic range optimization (DRO): Multiple levels of DRO recover details in dark or bright areas of the picture. Standard mode improves shadow detail using standard gamma curves. Advanced Auto mode lets you select any of five DRO levels. DRO Advanced Bracketing automatically creates three versions of the image captured at different DRO levels with a single shutter press.
• DT 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 lens: This superb standard lens handles the full range of your most common shots, but there's nothing standard about its advanced optical design. This lens covers a range from 27mm (wide-angle) to 105mm (midrange telephoto) (35mm equivalent) for snapshots, portraits, interiors and more. An excellent all-around lens for travel.

• Eye-Start Autofocus: The DSLR-A300K begins autofocus adjustments the moment you bring your eye to the viewfinder, so you'll never miss a shot.
• Long-lasting battery: Take up to 730 shots on a single charge of the included InfoLithium battery. A handy display indicates the percentage of power remaining.
• Anti-dust technology: The DSLR-A300K utilizes both static-free anti-dust coating on the CCD filter. And anti-dust vibration automatically shakes the CCD to dislodge dust each time the camera is shut off.
