• 10.2 MP Super HAD CCD: The Sony alpha DSLR-A300X 10.2-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera features amazing pixel resolution for spectacular image detail for making big prints and tight crops. High ISO also means that the image sensor can handle short exposures to light, allowing fast shutter speeds that prevent blur due to camera shake or moving subjects.
• Dynamic range optimization (DRO): Multiple levels of DRO recover details in dark or bright areas of the picture. Standard mode improves shadow detail using standard gamma curves. Advanced Auto mode lets you select any of 5 DRO levels. DRO Advanced Bracketing automatically creates three versions of the image captured at different DRO levels with a single shutter press.
• DT 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 lens: This superb standard lens handles the full range of your most common shots, but there's nothing standard about its advanced optical design. In 35mm equivalent, it covers wide-angle 27mm to 105mm midrange telephoto for snapshots, portraits, interiors and more. An excellent all-around lens for travel.
• 55-200mm telephoto lens: The superb multi-purpose 55-200mm f4-5.6 telephoto zoom lens is an excellent all-around value, covering the medium to long-distance telephoto range you will use most. It also provides close minimum focusing distance of about 3 feet (.95m), for tight shots of people, natural subjects and close-up details. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to carry as your standard or accessory lens—and all your shots will benefit from the Sony Super SteadyShot image stabilization system built into every Sony α system DSLR. (35mm equivalent: 82.5-300mm).
• High-speed shooting: The DSLR-A300X can capture the action at up to 4 frames per second—even shooting at full resolution.
