The progressive scan image is flicker-free and offers better resolution than standard interlaced images.
- Dolby Digital/DTS audio: Connected to a compatible AC-3 receiver, Dolby Digital creates a multi-channel audio experience and three-dimensional audio rivaling the best movie theaters. A Toshiba DVD player can be connected to a DTS compatible receiver/decoder via its digital audio outputs for playback of high-resolution multi-channel DTS-encoded DVDs and CDs.
- DivX playback: Play DivX, AVI and MPEG4 compressed files downloaded from the Internet to your personal computer and stored on a CD-R/RW.
- One-touch recording: This feature simplifies the setup of your timer for recording within a 24-hour period. One button starts the recording and allows setting of the recording length.
