The capable 46XF550U also gives you a great picture with standard definition video. It features Toshiba's exclusive PixelPure processing that cleans up and improves the look of lower-resolution sources. And DynaLight? technology creates deep black levels while maintaining image detail and contrast by monitoring the brightness of each frame, then adjusting the backlight intensity accordingly.
The generous array of audio/video connections includes two HD-capable component video jacks, plus three HDMI inputs for use with the growing number of HDMI-equipped components. The HDMI inputs can even accept 1080p signals, for pristine reproduction of 1080p sources. You can also connect a computer to the 46XF550U's PC input for a large-sized view when working, gaming, or surfing the web.
