Pros: Excellent value; the clarity required of professional monitor headphones, great for any listener.
Cons: The headband's grip could be tighter.
BottomLine: Any beginning sound producer/engineer will do great with these. Just the same, any listener will appreciate the vivid, realist reproduction of music.

Pros: Nice build quality, attractive, long cord, comfortable and light.
Cons: Mediocre sound. Why bother when there are other, better sounding options out there.
BottomLine: The AKG K240S are lacking in sound quality and there are much better sounding options out there in this price range.

The hype escapes me!
Pros: Crystal clear
Cons: Too expensive, may slide off when moving, lacking in bass
BottomLine: Very disappointing overall sound for the money. I expected more bang for my buck. Comfortable, but I would never sacrifice sound quality for comfort-one must suffer for one's art!
