Pros: Quick operation for heating water, great stainless steel look. Cons: Noisy, lots of steam during operation. BottomLine: This is a good basic unit for heating water to the boiling point repeatedly throughout the day.
Pros: Cheap price; boils water fast Cons: Very noisy; filter is hard to clean BottomLine: I would not buy this kettle again. If I could buy Phillips kettle instead I would... but not this one.

Pros: heats water very quickly, nostalgic look, easy to pour Cons: heavy, looks clunky, no whistle, loud, no automatic turn off, water leaches off flavor BottomLine: Unless speed is important to you or you really insist on boiling water for everything, I'd look elsewhere if you want a new electric kettle.
Pros: shiny metal exterior, unexposed heating coil, mesh filter, auto shutoff Cons: ungrippy handle, liters, 4 cups, difficult cleaning, filter doesn't seem to filter, small heat-resistant lid BottomLine: The nice features this Aroma kettle has don't outweigh its impractical ones.
