What Four Grand Won't Buy You
Pros: sounded pretty good in the demo room, which was total blue smoke and mirrors
Cons: $4,000???????????? Are these people high?
BottomLine: I can't recommend a system that is only miraculous in its ability to fool newbies into thinking they're getting more for their money.

The Sound will blow you away
Pros: All of your TV shows are in surround sound, Movies, Sports, and Video games,
Cons: Price is high, but than the old saying that you pay for what you get.
BottomLine: Go to the Bose Store and hear it before you buy, And when you get it home and set up (RIGHT)it's sounds just like it does in the store

Love the sound, but known DVD problems plague Bose Lifestyle systems
Pros: Love the great sound from compact speakers.
Cons: Everything good canceled out by known bugs because Bose won't spend profit to fix it.
BottomLine: $4k is too much to spend on a system with this bug. If you must have a Bose system, buy a speaker system but use another DVD player.

Bose Lifestyle 28 System Met My Needs
Pros: Balanced sound, accurate base, full midrange and silky highs. Great calibration software.
Cons: None for me.
BottomLine: Return policy makes trying it in your home at no-brainer. Read the critics but ultimately listen to your ears.

Pros: Small sized powerful speakers, good picture.
Cons: Not as good as it should for the asked price.
BottomLine: Dont buy it. It costs to much and you can find other good looking systems for less money.

Pimp My Bose
Pros: Easy set up, calibration, Tech manual reads well and sounds great on regular music.
Cons: If I knew it would't play HD discs, I would think twice.

Pros: Small footprint in a living room. Somewhat ok sound for the size.

Super System 48
Pros: Great sound for music and movies. Surrounds are wireless by adding a transmitter and receiver.
Cons: Expensive but I have two years to pay for it with no interest.
