Canon can do so much better than SD990!!!
Pros: Great looks, megapixels, movie mode, digic 4, i-Contrast, QuickShot
Cons: Picture quality can be better, small LCD, no wide angle
BottomLine: For those who want to latest from Canon this camera might good. For those who want true quality - probably not.

I love this camera!
Pros: Superb image quality
Cons: expensive, wide angle lens not that wide.
BottomLine: I love this camera. It always captures true to life images in focus and with everyone's eyes open. It is currently Canon's top of the line camera.

Very poor Cannon 980IXUS , over rated
Pros: None, taking it back, staying with the 10 times Optical Kodak 4 meg.
Cons: Poor picture quality the moment you zoom beyond 2 times, camera slow to process.
BottomLine: Poor image quality when using any zoom, slow to process images, 2 plus seconds till shutter is ready for next shot. Sorry i bought it.
