Probably the finest SSB mobile on the market
Pros: Excellent receive (even rivals some high-end radios).
Cons: Does not work well with a RF pre-amp added and will overload the receiver.
BottomLine: Probably the best choice for the money on the mainstream CB radio market

Still the best, forget the rest
Pros: super durable, excellent performance, easily tuned up, readily repairable (but you wont need it)
Cons: controls are twitchy especially if you have big hands.

Classic Radio still the best!
Pros: Receiver sensitivity, pleasing receive audio, great tx audio, outstanding quality.
Cons: Volume level hard to adjust (very sensitive knob) also used for on-off control.

Cobra 148 stands next to all the export radios if tuned proper
Pros: accurate swr meter, durable and heavy, can take all the bumps in the road
Cons: Wimpy speaker,s-meter is really crowded, a little ssb freq. drift
