Pros: Small Size, Inexpensive, built-in Alarm Clock, Excellent CD Player capabilties, Power Cord Cons: Uses 6 "C" batteries BottomLine: The Coby CX CD241 CD Boombox is my favorite portable boom-box, because of the inexpensive price and great sound.
Little Machine Belts Out Big, Bold Beautiful Sound
Pros: Stylish, lightweight, compact, ears-free, CD/AM/FM boom box with relatively great sound for $19.99 Cons: Flimsy plastic parts. Sometimes bass deficient. AM/FM reception only "so-so." Occasionally "tinny" instrumental tracks. BottomLine: Great little unit for the money. If it suits the purpose, buy it!
Pros: small and inexpensive Cons: humming noise buttons don't function exchange of faulty product at consumer's expense BottomLine: Don't buy, doesn't work after a short time and a replacement will cost you at least $12.
