Cuisinart 5 in 1 griddle/Panini
Pros: Removable trays, compact, stainless steel finish, easy cleaning, reversible trays, nonstick trays, temperature gauge.
Cons: None so far.
BottomLine: I definitely recommend Cuisinart 5 in 1 griddle/Panini press for anyone who enjoys inside grilling in a quick and convenient way to prepare their favorite foods.

Silly controls. Inadequate power for 1" steak. Messy for eggs, good panninis.
Pros: Makes good panninis
Cons: There are better ways to cook everything but panninis in even a minimally equipped kitchen

Makes crispy, gooey, cheesy sandwiches
Pros: Removable, interchangeable, nonstick grill surfaces; floating hinge; adjustable temperature; makes CRISP sandwiches.
Cons: Grill top gets hot. Cord placement somewhat awkward, careful not to burn it.
BottomLine: I got this as a deal from Cuisinart, but knowing what I know now, I would pay full price. This is a wonderful kitchen tool!

THE GRIDDLER
Pros: easy to use, easy to clean, dishwasher safe, truly makes great tasting food
Cons: a little slow heating up, especially when I'm in a hurry
BottomLine: make sandwiches and turkey burgers that everyone claims are "the best I've ever had." The proof is in the pudding (cooking pudding not recommended with GRIDDLER). Buy it today.

THE CURRENT CHAMP (But expensive)
Pros: The champ. Does everything the best.
Cons: Hard to clean and doesn't make coffee.
BottomLine: The best tasting griller on the market. It's only con is that it's expensive. It's twin brother the GR8 is 50% less at Costco and other larger chains.
