My family owns three and we love them!
Pros: Excellent Coffee Stays hot for hours. Hot fresh coffee all day! Coffee grinds dump out easy
Cons: Difficult to pour due to insulation Reservoir fill is small
BottomLine: We love this coffeemaker! Easy to use and clean, makes great coffee, and it stays warm and fresh all day!

Does what it is supposed to But POURLY
Pros: Brews "decent" cup of coffee. Coffee stays warm after brewing.
Cons: Hard to pour water in Awkward to pour coffee out of carafe Difficult to clean carafe

Attractive and Functional
Pros: Thermal Carafe Attractive design Easy to use Uses standard #4 filters Built-in water filter Brew pause Programmable
Cons: Slow pouring from the carafe Coffee isn't very hot (when brewed with cold water)
BottomLine: Based on 1 week of use, I would recommend buying this coffeemaker. It's attractive, easy to use, and makes great-tasting coffee.

Good coffee, annoying design flaws
Pros: Makes good coffee, thermal carafe saves energy, reusable coffee filter included
Cons: Design flaws mean coffee maker not trustworthy enough to leave unattended, making wake-up mode useless
BottomLine: If you find a comparable coffee maker for the same price, better to go with that instead. If a wake-up brewing mode is important to you, definitely look elsewhere.

This Cuisinart helps curb my coffee habit...
Pros: Looks nice. Three year warranty.
Cons: Mediocre coffee. Tricky to use. Carafe doesn't keep coffee hot.
BottomLine: Cuisinart often makes excellent products, but in my experience, the DCC-1150 isn't one of them.

Looks Nice on the Counter But Makes HORRIBLE Coffee
Pros: Thermal carafe accommodates coffee drinkers who get up at different times with an attractive aesthetic.
Cons: Weak Coffee, Annoying alarm, Difficult to pour carafe.
BottomLine: Less than optimal coffee maker; only saving grace is the functioning timer and thermal carafe.
