Disappointed
Pros: Looks nice, has setting for cups of coffee and safety interlock.
Cons: Noisy and messy,messy,messy.
BottomLine: It's ubiquitous presence on store shelves tends to make it peoples' first burr grinder, but shop around for a better model

Pros: Big bean chamber A timer will make it burr a preset quantity Price range
Cons: Not so good for espresso, but not supposed to in that price range Plastic ground container

...and Another Cuisinart Product that Quit Working
Pros: Attractive appearance. Grinds well when it works.
Cons: Product stopped working after a few dozen grinds.
BottomLine: Even though I like the way the product worked (past tense), I cannot recommend it due to the product failing early on.

Cusinart DBM8 - sudden death
Pros: Reasonably good at grinding coffee. Low cost for a burr grinder.
Cons: Short life. Doesn't grind fine enough for expresso.

Good, but can be made better...
Pros: Inexpensive. Easy to clean. Reliable (used 2-3x per day for over a year).
Cons: Requires modification (that probably voids whatever warranty it has) to get extra fine espresso grind.
BottomLine: Good value, reliable so far, and does what it is supposed to.
