Worst vacuum I've ever owned
Pros: Looks pretty slick on the showroom floor. Will seduce you into buying it.
Cons: Brittle plastic body breaks apart quickly and easily. Terribly engineered!

Dirt Devil -- as cheap as the reputation suggests (updated 1/14/03)
Pros: HEPA filtration; swivel feature is nifty; works pretty darn well
Cons: Cheap construction; you just know it won't last for long
BottomLine: Kind of the Bic Lighter of vacuum cleaners -- cheap and disposable, but works well enough.

Buy a Kirby instead
Pros: Its such a pretty color and I get exercise pretending to vacuum with it
Cons: It doesn't even work!

BottomLine: A true piece of garbage. I wouldn't buy another Dirt Devil product if you paid me (well, maybe if you paid me AND paid for the vacuum).

Don't buy this Dirt Devil
Pros: Bags are easy to change.
Cons: Belts break, hard to replace. Extension hose keeps coming undone when vacuuming.
BottomLine: Do not buy because it will cause you all sorts of problems with the belts breaking.

It's pretty, but does it suck?
Pros: Attachments are handy and easy to use. Quick switch from vacuum to attachments.
Cons: Attachments fall off. Vacuum doesn't clean.
BottomLine: Please don't waste your money on this vacuum. It has less than a year lifespan and the company does not support it.
