5-STARS_Best Vacuum for people with pets
Pros: Cleans like a hurricane. Many accessories. So simple a child can figure it out.
Cons: NO CONS. It was worth every cent we spent on it.
BottomLine: If you don't have one of these machines your wasting your money on another brand. We've tried them all and will by Dyson from now on.

Great for the first 3 weeks, then Bam!
Pros: Great Suction Attachments "snap" in place wand design is better
Cons: Died after 3 weeks crevice/brush stinks AirMuscle not ready for market yet.
BottomLine: I would wait till they get the bugs worked out of the DC28 and go with a DC17 instead

Pros: easy to push and maneuver, excellent suction
Cons: not as easy to maneuver as dyson's original products
BottomLine: The vacuum made my house seems so much cleaner and my carpet looked newer and fluffier.

Que in Colorado - Dyson failed to live up to it's name
Pros: Light weight Easy to empty Easy to manuver and push Easy to put on attatchments
Cons: Pricey Wand was akward to use . Didn't pick up pet hair really well
BottomLine: Try Vac's consumer reports reccomend before spending money on a Dyson. I just didn't see the great performance that everyone raves about. Couldn't justify spending the money for the performance.

It sucks hairballs! ...and that's a good thing.
Pros: Powerful suction Excellent for heavy hair on carpet, floors and rugs Nice long cord Easy to empty
Cons: Heavy Awkward hose use Wand is difficult to use on furniture
BottomLine: Dyson has made a good product but attachments are quirky. Overall as an upright it can't be matched. We love it all things considered.

Pros: Air Muscle WORKS! 25 foot power cord 5 year warranty
Cons: No headlight! Pricey
BottomLine: You get what you pay for. May be too heavy for the weak and or old. Highly recommend for pet owners No headlight so if you vacuum in the dark don't buy it.

Dyson DC28 Pour quality
Pros: Good effort in design Good publicity campaign (transformer) Verry convincing commercial
Cons: To expensive for the quality Verry bad conception for tool Some tool inboard
BottomLine: My final recommandation is be cautious when you want to spend that kind of money for those item.
