Affection for Affinity
Pros: Easy to use, a good value, nice variety of features.
Cons: Need to dry out the gasket, end of cycle tone could be louder
BottomLine: I'd recommend buying this washer because it's easy to use, does a great job, and is a good value for the price.

Terrible Machine
Pros: It's better than a hand-cranked washer? ..I think I'd prefer the hand-crank personally.
Cons: Eats time, molds itself, can't handle medium/big loads, only does pre-programmed modes
BottomLine: Do not buy this. Just don't. Any amount of money is too much. It is the worst washer I've ever used or owned.

Tempermental but Tough
Pros: Clothes come out clean, less wet, dries in OLD dryer in half the time.
Cons: Now that the hoses are right, maybe I can do a bigger load?
Cleaner clothes.
BottomLine: Can't recommend this unit until I've had it long enough to know, but I WOULD recommend a Frigidaire having had one about 10 years with little to no problems

Affinity is a Work Professional
Pros: Ease of use, multiple settings, cleans well, quiet, energy efficient, uses less water.
Cons: Gasket in door must be wiped out to prevent mildew or door left open.
BottomLine: Get it-- you'll love it!
