Love it so far!
Pros: fairly cheap, lots of handy features, easy to use and figure out
Cons: must be close to the road for the initial GPS reading, slightly grating robotic voice

An economical entry level GPS.
Pros: Economical, easy to use, fair price & does a good job.
Cons: Poorly written documentation, no USB cable & no software included.
BottomLine: A basic entry level GPS without all the bells and whistles. It does what it says it does.

Covers the Basics
Pros: POI database, speed, accuracy, ease of use.
Cons: map detail, non-included accessories, voice prompts, navigational quirks.
BottomLine: This unit covers the basics well, if you can deal with the navigational quirks and poor map detail. The lack of included accessories is embarrassing for Garmin.

Garmin Nuvi 205 don't turn on until you are ready to check for updates
Pros: Works good if you can stand the map being outdated.
Cons: First time it reads a satallite the clock is ticking for current map.
BottomLine: I recommend the product with the warning to see about the upgrade, then be sure to get it within the 60 days after you FIRST turn it on.
