Pros: The unit gives clear instructions well in advance of any turns, etc. Cons: Insufficient written instructions and poor website. No USB cable provided. BottomLine: I recommend this unit if you require basic in-state travel assistance. It has a nice sized screen, clear voice response, and provides sufficient time to follow its instructions.
Pros: A fun, little toy Cons: No easy way to preview or customize routes BottomLine: Despite the prevelance of navigation systems today, I'm not sold on their value. The 255W is a toy not really a tool.
Pros: Very intuitive interface, simple yet many useful features, points of interest, clear screen, pleasant voice. Cons: Slightly too wide, power plug in back. Microsoft Streets and Trips feature problematic. BottomLine: After buying this GPS I found it to be more useful than I expected. My favorite feature is the points of interests which is very complete.
