Good GPS unit for the casual user
Pros: Rugged. Easy to read in sunlight. Runs a long time on 2 batteries
Cons: Keeps losing reception.
BottomLine: The Etrex Legend needs a perfectly clear sky with no cloud cover or trees in order to lock on to the satellites.

A good gps unit for the money
Pros: Small, allows you to find your location easily
Cons: Loses signal indoors and in dense urban areas / trees
BottomLine: good for if you enjoy the outdoors, but for vehicle navigation its a little tough.

Cons: Aging technology, battery life, antenna sensitivity
BottomLine: If you do not need an audio prompted, turn-by-turn hand hold to your destination, you could save with this older technology
