Pros: Positional accuracy, sat lock under cover, great display, great features, rugged unit, many accesories.

Terrible Experience with Customer Support
Pros: Works very well when it works. Fast, good display, nice user interface.
Cons: Limited sample size (1 unit) my conclusion is that Garmin has very poor quality control.
BottomLine: I am now afraid of Garmin products. If they fail, expect to pay a hefty price....

Garmin GPSMap 60
Pros: Great battery life. Great map support. Easy to use buttons. Great menu system. Good Memory.
Cons: Crappy Display. No memory expansion. Doesn't float.
BottomLine: Pass on purchasing this model and search for a color model with better display and expandable memory.

An excellent product!
Pros: Excellent reception, intuitive, lots of extra features, durable, water resistant
Cons: Software had to be reloaded, have to purchase maps separately
BottomLine: I recommend the Garmin 60CSx because of its excellent reception, usb connectivity, extra features and durability.

A Little Older, but Mature Product
Pros: Handheld, compact, rugged, fantastic battery life - IT Works!
Cons: Needs additional Mapsource software, older technology for signal acquisition. Screen harder to see in shade.
BottomLine: Older model, but still great - Check that it is priced accordingly. Older chipset harder to get fix in trees or urban setting with tall buildings. Great outdoor general-use Unit.

Sexy and powerful, but requires your first-born.
Pros: Excellent sat lock, high-res screen, endless options.
Cons: Extras must be calibrated often, mapping support is almost fraud.
BottomLine: A solidly designed product hampered by horrible map support, which makes resale value plummet. Excellent hardware, below average software. Only specific users will want this product.
