Heavy machine that does a pretty good job
Pros: Consistent cleaning path width. Good suction. above average clean and dirty tanks sizes.
Cons: Weak hinge causes gaps above lower tank. Loud. no retainer for suck hose end.
BottomLine: It does a good cleaning job, is easy to use and has a remote hose unit that works too.

Pros: None
Cons: Too expensive. Cheap parts that break easily. Unavailability of service provider in my area. Unreliable

Does the Job Well Enough For Our 1700 Square Feet of Living Space
Pros: Powerful; well designed; works well

BottomLine: All things considered I think the SteamVac Widepath Upright Vacuum does an adequate job of shampooing/cleaning, and defiantly beats paying someone else to do the work.

FALSE STATEMENT Hoover F7425-900 SteamVac V2 Widepath Upright Vacuum.
Pros: Cleans Beautifully and is quite easy to operate!
Cons: Breaks down and quits working or leaks Hoover does not build a dependable product.

Hoover SteamVac All Terrain
Pros: It works well when it is working, and the suction is impressive.
Cons: The use of an inferior plastic in a key component scares me.
BottomLine: This thing eats dirt. The suction is amazing. I would recommend it, but buy it from a Hoover dealer just in case. The death of scrubbers is becoming a nuisance.

Steam Vac V2---Blessing or Curse?
Pros: Cleans deeply--Carpets dry quickly
Cons: Sometimes, it leaks
BottomLine: If you can snap the clean water tank on properly and quickly so you don't get a leak, it's worth it.
