Some of the Best in Their Price Range
Pros: Excellent isolation, and "good" sound quality. For the price, excellent earbuds
Cons: Durability: In the tips, which can be replaced, but especially in the cord plug area
BottomLine: My final recommendation is to buy either these FX33's or the 34's. Great quality, sound, and especially noise isolation

Inexpensive upgrade from base earbuds.
Pros: Inexpensive, tangle-free, good performer for price range, and audio has depth with clarity.
Cons: Foam pads and comfort.
BottomLine: For its value, the 'mallows outperforms in the low-end $10-$20 range and is a fine daily "beater". Comfort is so-so and not for everyone.

Marshmallows may be more comfortable
Pros: Price
Cons: Comfort, Cable microphonics
BottomLine: If you absolutely need an in ear headphone, and can't afford to get something more expensive, these will hold you over temporarily if you can get past the comfort issues.

Good quality; low price
Pros: Cheap; good fit; isolates outside noise
Cons: Audio seems "muddy" at times; sound isn't much better than standard earbuds
BottomLine: Good replacement for standard earplugs but won't beat out higher priced models.
