Disappointing

Pros: you don't have to buy a hood fan which can be unattractive.
Cons: Unreliable & expensive repairs. Why do they charge so much for these electronics?
BottomLine: Don't buy this unless you have to and if you have to, get a warranty.

Very Pleased

Pros: Ease of use, quiet downdraft, coils heat up quickly.
Cons: Location of downdraft fan (not as big a con as I thought)
BottomLine: If you have to buy a slide in downdraft, this is the one to get. Its very easy to use and very attractive as well.

Pros: Built-in downdraft vent, convection oven, smooth top cleanup
Cons: Expensive
BottomLine: If you are looking at this range you probably don't have many options, but it performs well.

JES9800A fine but overpriced

Pros: Excellent oven, easy to clean, attractive, nice control panel
Cons: Overpriced, poor venting
BottomLine: This range is good, but not worth $1750, and downdraft is awful. A cheaper model with an overhead vent is a better value if you have the choice.
