Kenmore Oasis Stainless Steel Top Load Washer and the matching dryer. It easily cleans huge loads of laundry and offers many attractive extras and features.

Just what I was looking for
Pros: Huge capacity; easy set-up & use; comes in colors other than white
Cons: Limited to HE detergent, chlorine bleach, for whites

Pros: Easy to use
Cons: wrinkled clothes, overload and error messages, not enough water to agitate clothes thoroughly,

An Oasis or a Bad Dream?
Pros: Canyon capacity, nice blue color, high spin speed, lots of cleaning choices.
Cons: Broke in 16 months, expensive, lots of down time for repairs.
BottomLine: I would pass on ever buying a high end washer/dryer again. The electronics are so unreliable, and very costly to repair. Buy the warranty!!

I love it!
Pros: Fun,easy to use, gets clothes CLEAN, durable, good for the environment, bulky items no problem!
Cons: Uses HE detergent, which is spendy. Some wash cycles are very long, spendy initial investment

Pros: Tub size, fairly quiet, technology tries to be an asset.
Cons: Unreliable, technology ends up working against it.
BottomLine: I do not recommend this machine. Go with the LG WM2688HNM TROMM Front-Load SteamWasher if you want a high-end/high-priced washer, or spend less and get a less complicated/less technical top-loader.

Kenmore Oasis HE Top Load Washer
Pros: Uses less water than an agitating machine and can handle a few more clothes.
Cons: Doesn't get clothes as clean as an agitating machine and more pre-treatment is required.
BottomLine: The technician who came out to repair my washer 3 times would recommend the front-loader instead.

Large machine great for large family.
Pros: Huge capacity, quieter than traditional washer, cuts number of laundry loads in half.
Cons: May not be cost effective for small families with smaller laundry requirements.
BottomLine: Great washer for those with large washing requirements whose needs make it cost effective. Works as well as traditional machines doing twice the normal load in each cycle.
