LG Front Load Washer--Good for the planet, but doesn't get clothes clean!
Pros: Quiet, uses less water and energy.
Cons: Doesn't clean clothes as well as conventional washer, takes longer per cycle.
BottomLine: Uses a lot less water, but doesn't clean as well as conventional washers. Doesn't clean as well as top loading washers.  I don't recommend this washer for that reason.

LGWM0642 WASHER BEWARE: TUB CLEAN PROBLEM
Pros: Love control panel on top of the LGWM0642 like traditional models easy to see controls.
Cons: Tub clean on LGWM0642 machine not working and scheduling with LG repair is difficult.

Pros: Extreme washing efficiency, clean smelling clothes, nice control panel layout.
Cons: Some routine maintenance required, must carefully read manual

Awesome machine!
Pros: Quiet, large capacity, energy efficient, many cycles to choose from, plays a tune when done.
Cons: Cannot add clothes once it starts.
BottomLine: I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a well-made, energy efficient washing machine.

Don't buy an LG
Pros: water and energy efficient<br>relatively easy to use
Cons: reliability low<br>warranty service is minimal

Worth the money
Pros: High temp./extra rinse/1200 rpm options.<br>Delay wash; program memory button; speed wash.
Cons: None.  Costs more than top loaders, but worth it.

6 month review, great machine.
Pros: Get's clothes clean. Indicates that when using the machine that energy use is $18.00/year.
Cons: Add reminder light (w/ easy reset) to clean the filter screen once a month.
BottomLine: I would recommend this machine due to it's ability to effectively wash, rinse and spin dry clothes. Requires very little detergent (HE type and even less regular detergent).
