the prettiest thangs/ LG washer and dryer, front loading
Pros: large tub, energy$ rebate, red raises my spirit; easy control panel/instructions, quiet, no vibration spin
Cons: price, 2 wk back order: Home Depot. dryer tweak needed, see update

How did I live with out it?
Pros: Fantastic overall! Steam Fresh cycle, Super clean clothes, Quiet, Quality design, Energy saving
Cons: Expensive, HE detergent, Leave door open to allow drum to dry

Really Nice, Not sure worth the price
Pros: Timer; Delay Start; Quiet (at times); Lower energy/water; Clothes not sopping wet; STEAM
Cons: EXPENSIVE; clothes fall out when removing; wrinkles; dry seal; can't fill with wet clothes
BottomLine: Recommend only if conserving energy/water is important. Ease of features and timer/delay don't make up for Cost, clothes wrinkling/falling out, and required cleaning/maintenance.

Cons: Red color attracts a little dust to the eye.

A Whole New Class of Machine
Pros: Clean clothes, big loads, quiet operation, ability to steam the wrinkles out of your clothes.
Cons: Expensive (but worth it), need to perform some minimal preventive maintenance, longer cycles.
BottomLine: While the SteamWasher's cleaning is superior to any machine I have ever used, it is the SteamFresh cycle that makes this the best machine available.

Pros: Very quiet, uses much less water, high capacity and absolutely beautiful appearance.

The most beautiful washer and dryer ever!
Pros: The most beautiful machine ever! Intuitively designed. Large capacity, super quiet.
Cons: Price. Lack of LG reliability history - we bought an extended warranty as insurance.
BottomLine: The design features of this machine make it very attractive coupled with its high ratings from various consumer magazines.
