You can create Flipnotes which are animations made by you. It has wireless capabilities to link with other Dsi systems.
Pros: Extra activities included on console for free, even has a browser for surfing the web. Cons: Browser works, but not with the greatest internet speed or quality. BottomLine: Good choice for someone who loves their original DS games, but wants some new features that are not included in the DS, or DS lite.
