A DSLR for the common man
Pros: Compact and light, great image quality and handling. Superb kit lenses. Image stabilization.
Cons: Imperfect Live View, slow AF in low light. Poor menu system.
BottomLine: Lightweight yet well built with excellent image quality and flexibility. Handles very well and is easy to setup and control. Great value for money, particularly in the two-lens kit.

I Know its Not the Best, But I Like It
Pros: In general a great camera for beginners and experts alike
Cons: Noise at ISO1600, Live View focusing takes LOTS of time
BottomLine: Wonderful camera, and best price out there, buy it, unless you are willing to pay the extra $200 for the Sony a300 (coming out April 15th, 2008)

No Movie Mode?
Pros: Image stabilization and excellent image quality (albeit I use the sharper 14-54 lens).
Cons: Live view delay (for my purposes, it's too slow).
