A fantastic camera and well worth the price!
Pros: Reasonably Priced, and picture quality is great!
Cons: Does not come with a camera case. Shudder speed is a little slow.
BottomLine: I highly recommend the Lumix Digital camera as a step up from your first camera Takes great pictures, is easy to use and the price is just right.

Hard to capture toddlers in action with this camera, but great for priceless closeups
Pros: 12x zoom. Great quality. Minimal Shutter lag. Price is right. Many manual options.
Cons: Hard to focus in low light. Battery needs to be taken out to charge.
BottomLine: If you're looking for high quality and control, this is a great camera. Easy to learn for someone "upgrading" from a simple point and click.

Very good camera but necessarily compromised
Pros: great build quality, fun lens, IS works, focus ring works
Cons: noisy, no dedicated aperture/shutter controls, IS not as effective as with the FZ1
BottomLine: Best point and shoot in the market. No SLR killer. Proprietary battery not a problem - available for $20 in Ebay.

Professional quality photographs from a top-of-the-line amateur camera
Pros: 12x optical zoom, 4.0 megapixel, changeable lens, changeable flash, manual and automatic modes
Cons: Lens cap doesn't attach to camera, viewfinder is stationary and exposed, no firewire connection
BottomLine: Digital camera with all the bells and whistles of a professional camera, but minus the pricetag. If this is what you're looking for, you've found it.
