Pros: Great lens. High Quality, Versatile Auto or advanced manual control. GPS, geotagging built in. Cons: On the expensive side compared to similar cameras. Poor high ISO quality. BottomLine: If I could afford another pocket superzoom camera, this is the one I would pick, or its newer brother the SZ10.
Pros: Good quality still images and video; compact size; compatible with SDXC memory; GPS capability Cons: "Intelligent Auto" function not useful for me; AVCHD Lite requires a powerful computer; no hotshoe BottomLine: If you take both stills and videos, this is an excellent camera to consider.
