Pros: Inexpensive and can make custom-sized pipe clamps
Cons: none really other than you can only use them for flat or straight-edged clamping

Smaller but Still Mighty - and Mighty Versatile: ½" Pony Pipe Clamps
Pros: inexpensive, versatile, powerful yet delicate
Cons: can be over-torqued by zealous hands
BottomLine: Every wood shop needs pipe clamps; a few sets of ½-inch Pony Pipe Clamps is a good place to start beefing up your stock.
