GREAT SOUNDING BOOMBOX. Best of the SONY G series

Pros: Great sound. Excellent smooth bass.
Cons: Tiny display. Not backlit. Radio stations do not stay memorized.
BottomLine: Sound and looks were great. The radio would LOSE your preset radio stations everytime you unplugged it. If you can live with that, it's great otherwise.

WANNA PLAY YOUR WAX and NEED A PORTABLE INSTRUMENT AMP?

Pros: LOUD as hell, LINE IN, plays CASSETTES (yes, I KNOW I am OLD)
Cons: no BACKLIGHT, no SECOND LINE IN, no 8 TRACK PLAYER
BottomLine: LOUD box w/ CD/CASS./LINE IN for your iPOD, look no further. However, buy a long extension cord (this monster DEVOURS batts) and a flashlight to see the LCD.

Putting the BOOM in boom box

Pros: Incredibly clear, powerful sound, massive bass output for a small unit, auxillary line-in ability
Cons: Archaic mechanical tape operation buttons, no LCD screen back-light, eats batteries - lots of em.
BottomLine: If your looking for a portable system with sound clarity, high volume and room filling sound, look no further, the Sony G-70 is your answer.
