Sony is not what it used to be - this is a LEMON by design
Pros: Features on paper: Aux IN, CD, alarms, compactness Cons: Features function: Poor volume, poor sound, poor controls BottomLine: Do not buy it. There is really not a single reason to own this thing, it has no redeeming qualities to match its faults.
Pros: Big display numbers, dual alarm, convenient cd player, adjustable brightness Cons: Radio and volume dials are badly placed and not digital, no presetting of stations BottomLine: This is a good value, $40 gets you dual alarm, cd, large display, but no digital radio/volume controls, just poorly placed knobs.
Pros: Very few. Large digits on the clock portion if visually impaired. CD. Cons: No presets. Volume control nearly impossible to locate. Same with manual, old-fashioned tuner control. AVOID. BottomLine:
Pros: Large display, size, top loading CD, in-line jack for MP3 player, analog tuner, price Cons: Alarm buzzer, sound quality, volume range, no headphone jack, volume and tuner knob location BottomLine: Do not consider, unless you're into self abuse. If the latter is the case this is the unit for you.
Pros: has all the basic functions of a CD-clock radio Cons: feel like 70/80ish radio BottomLine: Unless you like the old tuner from the 70/80s radio and switch, spend a few more for digital and modern version.
Some great features for the price, sound quality so-so
Pros: Dual alarms; MP3 player input; not too expensive Cons: Sound quality; analog tuner is weak BottomLine: As a low-priced cd-alarm clock, with mp3 player input, this works fine if you're not looking for amazing sound quality.
