Sony DVP-NS700P - Overpriced DVD Player With Progressive Scan
Pros: Nice looks, "real" progressive scan with 2:3 pulldown, inputs, features, component cable
Cons: Combing, "chroma" upsampling bug, price; competitors have better models for less
BottomLine: The NS700P is overpriced. Other players have better picture quality and do the same and more for less.

Sony - philes will be pleased
Pros: Nice full featured DVD Player at a reasonable price
Cons: Remote is not back lit, some features aren't for everyone
BottomLine: I was surprised I only spent $250.00 on a unit this packed with features. After spending some time with it, I am pleased with my choice and would recommend it.
