Sony DCR-DVD108: Very Good DVD Camcorder But Tape Camcorder Users Should Think Twice (Updated)
Pros: 40X zoom, great battery life, durable construction, built-in lens cover, easy to hold.
Cons: Nags you to use Sony discs, "finalizing" process may cause you to miss something.
BottomLine: The DCR-DVD108 has 40X telephoto zoom and touch-screen technology, exceptional value. But users accustomed to tape camcorders may want to think things through before buying it.

Pros: Light-weight, video quality is excellent, & very handy to use.
Cons: Cannot change the image size to improve the quality of the picture
