it may be slim but I am still in love with it's fatter sibling.
Pros: it plays a lot of great PS2 games
Cons: it can over heat and skips a lot.
BottomLine: a lot of great games on the PS2.

Inexpensive gaming console
Pros: Low price, great variety of games, durable, easy to hook up, and portable.
Cons: Production may end in 2010.
BottomLine: I recommend this product because of the system's reliability, durability, and affordable price compared to the other game consoles.

Buying a playstation 2 at this stage (late 2008)
Pros: Huge game catalog. Many hits available for low prices. The PS2 cheap now.
Cons: The controls are sluggish. Very limited saves. Lots of camera and crosshair fiddling.
BottomLine: It's cheap enough that you can't go wrong. It does have some games that just aren't available on computer and there are some games are quite good.

Pros: Small and portable.
Cons: Delicate and hard to use as a DVD player.
BottomLine: Get this because it is easy to use and take on vacation or on the road.

A 2005 Holiday Look at the PS2 Slimline Console: Does Size Matter?
Pros: smaller, lighter, built in network adapter, same power and accessories
Cons: no built in multitap, incompatible with a few ps1 games, no port for hard drive
BottomLine: If you're playing online, this is a great console to get.
