Wishing this could be my rock of love- the Whirlpool WFW8300SW Front Loading Washer.
Pros: holds more, saves on water
Cons: persnickety F20 error codes, maintaining washer is key.
BottomLine: If you want a front loader, be sure to do your research and be ready to dedicate to the maintenance, otherwise you'll have problems.

My Terrible Laundering Beauty
Pros: Energy and water saving, clean, fresh laundry, can see the laundry going 'round and 'round!
Cons: Durability concerns, F-codes, some vibration issues.
BottomLine: I recommend the Whirlpool Duet Sport because it is efficient, energy and water saving, and a blast to watch. However, I do have some doubts about long-term durability of front-loaders.

Great washer: the clothes come out clean and almost dry.
Pros: Capacity, cleans well, uses very little detergent
Cons: Price
BottomLine: I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new washer. It's a little pricey, but operating costs are significantly lower than older uprights. It works great!
